As the summer season rolls in, there’s no better time to breathe warmth into your space with a little interior update. And what better way to do so, than with a gorgeous wallpaper design from New Zealand design house, Emma Hayes? Let’s explore the new arrivals here at NewWall.
New arrivals from
Emma Hayes
We’re delighted to welcome a selection of new designs from Emma Hayes. A celebration of quiet beauty, both Veil and Journey continue the design house’s exploration of watercolor for interiors, and its ability to transform without dominating.
Safe to say, these designs offer stunning new interior opportunities that we’re sure you’ll love to take advantage of. Let’s take a look.
A little about Veil
Inspired by traditional Japanese Noren panels, Veil captures the delicate form of hanging fabric gently shifting in a summer breeze. The light pallet, coupled with the transparent, irregular geometric blocks works beautifully to create a unique yet subtle design feature in your space.
Veil in Rose
Veil in Rose is perfect for communal spaces. The floral tones welcome warmth and relaxation without dominating their surroundings, making it the ideal choice for a pairing with darker furniture – as seen below.
Veil in Blue
In contrast, Veil in Blue is best suited in a bedroom, as this is where you can allow the calming tones to thrive. A beautiful way to add a delicate brush of color to your room, we recommend pairing with crisp, white linen and a modern throw rug – as seen below.
A little about Journey
Journey is Emma Hayes’ homage to Paul Klee’s statement “art is like taking a line for a walk”. As such, Journey is a custom, non-repeating mural that uses a linear pattern that morphs and transforms as you follow it around the room.
Available in Sand, this stunning design is ideal for a communal or office space, as seen below.
