Abstract

Inspired by the richness of unconscious imaginings, Abstract explores the ways of the mind through the use of line, color and shape. Abstract began with paintings our co-founder Rachel created for her own personal art therapy during Covid. Channeling her experience as a professional art therapist, she put on atmospheric music and painted, letting her intuition guide her. Working with watercolors on fine art paper, she selected a series of color combinations with calming qualities to feature in this collection. Calico then used a special process to prepare this handcrafted design to create an immersive mural that can be custom fit to any interior.
