Putting the “Pow!” into our Powder Room

Putting the “Pow!” into our Powder Room

By Connie SishtonJan 07, 2024
If there’s one thing we’ve learned from our many years in the interior biz, it’s that restylings can get messy. Brand, function, aesthetic appeal, personal taste…there are so many parts at play that we can sometimes become distracted from the important thing - how it should feel. So, when it came time to revamp our powder room…that’s exactly where we started.

What’s in a space?

There are times when we can all benefit from a fresh perspective. To truly transform a space, you need to bring it back to what exactly you want from it. So, when the time came to update our powder room….

Introducing: The “Pow!”der Room

Out with the old, and in with the new. Rejuvenation enters with a “pow!”. Our new design would be bold, bright and daring, providing a fun little shock factor to ignite the positive energy that we always encourage here at NewWall. And as luck would have it, we knew the perfect wallcovering for the task…

Fluo Wood Chameleon by Artmura

We’d all been charmed by Artmura’s Fluo Wood Chameleon design. Its striking color choices and never the same pattern provide a little crazy character that we couldn’t wait to play with. But how did we style it? This design is oozing with potential from head to toe, so it felt only natural that we apply it across both the walls and ceiling.

Sea Window by Coordonné

For that added “pow!” factor, we turned our attention to our sills and skirtings. White just didn’t feel right, so naturally we went for a matching, vibrant green…

And as for the light, we just had to introduce more of that hot pink into the mix. As an added feature, we decided to introduce gleaming chrome bird handles, with modern, sweeping tails.

Put it all together, and you have…our “pow!”der room.

We hope you enjoyed this peek into the spaces that make up our showroom. Looking for a change of perspective too? We’d be delighted to help. Book an appointment today.
