One of the many things I adore about summer is the amazing Farmer’s Markets. The perfect weekend family outing, it’s a little bit of rustic retail therapy that all ages can enjoy. The fresh air, the local offerings, the adorable animals…it all got me thinking, there are some lovely themes at the Markets to be explored in interior designs. So, that’s what I’m doing today, with products right here at NewWall! It’s all about earth What’s the first thing you think of, when I say “farm life”? For me, it’s the sound of squelching mud beneath wellies, the smell of grass and soil or the rough texture of hoof-print scattered dirt paths…in short…it’s all about earth. Clays Hatch instantly reminds me of the secrets below the surface. The spectacular offerings we see at the markets all start as seeds below the ground… Clays Hatch Earth by 17 Patterns It’s a wonderful reminder that growth takes time. Plus, its deep, striking tones make for a bold and stylish feature! But that’s enough about the power of below earth…what about the beauty that shines through above it? Meditations in Flora is here for that… Meditations In Flora, Study N. 2 by Wallpaper Projects These stunning shades sing springtime to me, the best time to appreciate the magic earth holds! A little rustic charm The key to creating rustic charm is that a little goes a long way…especially if you’re not actually in a rural spot. The level of themes that farm & country houses can get away with is much different than us city dwellers. I think the secret to making it work for us city dwellers, is texture… Whether it’s concrete, jute or tartan, by adding a textured wallpaper you can introduce a rustic touch that doesn’t feel out of place. All things eco One of the greatest things about Farmers Markets is that they celebrate a sustainable, more eco-friendly way of living. If that’s not a theme in itself, then I don’t know what is! Here at NewWall, we’re immensely proud of the range of eco-friendly designs we hold. And they’ll carry through market vibes too. Whether you opt for forest scenes… Plantasia Sage by House of Hackney Something a little more up close and personal… Willow Chocolate by Emma Hayes Or a full on floral fantasy… Pradera Añil by Coordonné Thanks to our extensive range, this theme is a breeze to carry through to your space. So, there we have it! I hope you enjoyed this exploration into the themes of the Farmers Market. Keep up to date with my top picks here at NewWall, right here. Browse Maria’s Edit Share Link copied!
