Wallpaper Projects and Teruko Kushi have come together to create “Moonrise”, a unique wallpaper featuring copper, bronze, and steel paintings. Using metal as a canvas, Teruko treats the material with a series of natural earth elements, acids and heat, to produce chromatic and ethereal painterly surfaces. The vivd colors and gestural shapes evoke celestial and atmospheric phenomena, as if to capture iridescent cloud’s, aurora borealis, or the soft glow of the moon rising.
