Velar Plain Sand

Blocked forms sit in measured rhythm across a ground of suede-like depth — geometric, but never rigid, their hard edges softened by a low-sheen surface that catches light the way weathered terrain does: shifting between matte shadow and a gentle glow depending on the hour, the season, the room. Up close, the texture reads as tactile. Standing back, the whole reads as elemental — an ancient plain re-imagined in modern abstraction, where pattern feels less like something printed and more like strata pressed into cloth over time.

Across twenty-one colourways — from the restraint of mineral neutrals and chalk whites, through clay-warm earths, to deep oceanic tones — each palette changes the mood of the plain while keeping the same sculptural calm. Some are quiet enough to disappear into the architecture. Some hold the room completely. All of them reward the decision to live within them.

Velar Plain Sand, warm gold and pale ochre — Sand is richer than its name suggests, the suede-like surface giving the colour the depth of something sun-warmed rather than sun-bleached.

Each single roll comprises of 2 x 70cm (27.5″) wide, easy to install wallpaper drops, each 3.2m (126″) in length. Multiple rolls can be joined together to extend across any wall width and trimmed to the required height.
